Post-Show Blog for 9/24/08 (All-Surprise Team)
![]()
Well, Siano hit it out of the park on this one!
We’re nearing the end of our year in review shows as the All-Surprise team was unveiled today. So let’s compare Mike and Cory’s preseason sleeper picks with the All-Surprise list to see how the guys did. Cory did a nice job with Greinke and Scott while striking out badly on Lugo, Gagne, McGowan (injury), and Kendrick. As for Mike, Towles was a disaster and his choices of Weeks and Feliz have proven to be mediocre at best. But the outfield trio of Bay, Kemp, and most notably Quentin easily makes up for all that.

Where is the audio podcast for this show?
While Youkilis and Cantu had great years I personally really think that Aubrey Huff should have had one of those spots.
At shortstop an argument should be made for Alexei Ramirez, better numbers than Guzman. No doubt he was valued higher than Guzman, but I bet he still was undrafted.
