I’d go with Tex and Wright for the hitters. Tex is a definite in my mind and of that group Wright will be the second hitter off the board in the vast majority of drafts. I’ll take the chance that Wright’s power improves to at least the 20 HR level and we all know he’ll give you a high AVG, lots of SBs and plenty of RBIs hitting in what should be a much healthier Mets lineup. Verlander would be my pitcher. Can’t really go wrong with any of those other guys but he’s been flat out dominant all year and I view him as having the highest upside.

I’m keeping Beltran. The fact that he’s playing right now makes me optimistic about his chances of returning to full health after an entire offseason of rest. Much more concerned about Reyes’ injury as it sounds like he’s made very little progress over a pretty long period of time. As for Ethier, he’s having a great year but I think you’ll be able to get him back in the draft assuming this isn’t a league where you get to keep more than five or six guys. Regardless, Beltran will be drafted before him.
