well Im in 1st place by 1 game….I have speed in D jennings/ Upton/ cain/ kipnis/ kinsler but seem to lose or barely win that category at times….Rajai Davis is available so wondering would you drop any of my OF including the above and Fowler/ Werth/ Marte/ Rasmus or even Hosmer/ Ike? If jennings or Upton would hit more I know that would take care of it but its been a year long battle

I’d stand pat. Davis offers very little outside of SBs, so if he goes a week without stealing a base he’s pretty much useless. Your current guys are more well-rounded.

Is Andrew Bailey coming back soon, and when he comes off the DL should I add him and drop Brett Myers. I also have an empty spot on my roster who should I add Bonifacio and put him on DL then add Asdrubal Cabrera, straight out Asdrubal Cabrera or add Trevor Plouffe place him on the DL and add Asdrubal Cabrera. Who will have more roto fantasy value Plouffe or Bonofacio

It sounds like Bailey will be back soon, probably within the next 10-14 days. We’re still not sure whether he’ll be a closer or a setup man upon his return but my hunch is that he’ll return to the closer role. And yes, I have no problem with you dropping Myers to pick up Bailey. Myers isn’t closing and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. As for Plouffe vs Bonifacio, it really depends on your needs, power or speed. Personally, I think that Bonifacio is the better bet as we know that he’s a legit SB guy. Plouffe has only three homers since the beginning of July.

Yea I dropped Bonifacio and I have an empty roster spot, I need power. SB’s in my league are only 1 pt as for HR’s are 4 pts. So I’ll probably go with Plouffe. Plouffe has 2B, 3B, SS and OF eligibility I have Uggla at Second Freese at third JJ Hardy at SS and my outfield is Bourn Cruz and Granderson. Should I use Plouffe as a Util player over Napoli. Right now I have Napoli and Goldschmidt at Util
Napoli’s ice cold right now so sure, feel free to bench him.

I just dropped McCallister and picked up Lester over Dempster……do you see Lester as Improving over ROS ……

Yeah, McAllister for Lester is a reasonable gamble. I’m not putting much stock into Lester’s mediocre last outing as it was against the Rangers. I’m not overly optimistic about him but McAllister is totally unproven, so making that move is worth it just on the chance that Lester rediscovers his ace form.

Not a huge fan of that trade for you. Hamels is the best pitcher of the three in that deal and you know that we hate to trade very good hitting for pitching unless it’s for a top-tier guy. Ethier for Gallardo is reasonable but Hamels to Lynn is a clear step down.

is there any news on Giancarlo Stanton officially coming off the DL today? i just traded Tommy Milone and Ross Detwiler(who i picked off of waivers and flipped) to get him(my pitching is stacked, needed the HR’s)

As crazy as it might have sounded back in April to trade two first rounders for a top prospect who had yet to be called up, I’d do this deal. Bautista’s return timetable is up in the air right now and although Votto is expected back within the next week, Trout is the #1 overall player in fantasy baseball at this point. And aside from maybe M-Cab, it’s not even close.
