I just dealt Dom Brown and Yoga for Ubaldo and Ryan Zimmerman. My 3b options were pretty pathetic between pedro alvarez and chris johnson and I’ll have Adam Lind and Cody Ross replace Dom brown in a righty left platoon. What do you think?

broutman,

Yeah, I’m OK with this. Selling Brown now isn’t a bad idea and you get more stability at 3B. Still like Gallardo more than Ubaldo ROS though, and Zim is always an injury risk. Plus, at least Alvarez is putting up strong power numbers. All in all, I like it but don’t love it.

With Nolasco pitching well, and the Marlins looking to trade him what kind of bump do you think his value gets in the 2nd half? Any thoughts on possible teams involved? Seeing him go to an NL contender would certainly move him up.

14 team head to head mixed ERA and WHIP, thanks as always!

clif,

I don’t really see his value changing much. Not a big subscriber to the theory that getting traded to a contender always increases a pitcher’s fantasy value. Wins are still very unpredictable and there are other factors, like a possibly less favorable home park coupled with added pressure in a pennant race, that cannot be ignored.

10 team H2H dynasty, still keep Jeremy Hellickson on the Bump or Dump for better on the wire? Thanks RK

RK,

Depends on what “better” is but in a dynasty format I wouldn’t be so quick to give up on him.
