Sabathia @ Feldman – let’s see what the big fella has left
Hutchison @ Cobb – keep an eye on Hutchison
Burnett @ M. Perez
E. Ramirez @ Wilson – keep an eye on Erasmo
Kluber @ Kazmir
@ Kennedy – keep an eye on Kennedy
@ Eovaldi – in Miami, sure
A. Wood @ Lohse – blue plate special!
@ Miley

***ZACH SAYS “In deep mixed/NL-only leagues, I’d consider Eovaldi, pitching at home versus a so-so offense. Agree on rest.”

Of Miley, Kluber and Kazmir, which two would you go with?

Kazmir. He’s at home and I’d like to see how Kluber does in his season debut before considering him an automatic start.

Hey Zach,
I hope you are doing well. My current OFs are Harper, Hamilton, Cespedes, Crawford, and Victorino. Victorino went on the shelf for three weeks and I was considering adding Sizemore to fill some games. However, Xander Boegarts is available with eligibility at SS and 3B. I need backup at those positions. Who has the most upside for the season? This is for a 10 team, H2H, mixed league with a max of 45 moves (adds, drops, trades) for the season.

Thanks for all of your help.

Rich D.

Kinda depends on who your alternative OF options are to replace Victorino, but I’d have a hard time passing on Bogaerts’ upside. Honestly, I’d try to add both if I could.

What kind of ratio would you implement for your bench (5 bench players)? 4:1 pitchers to hitters, 4:1 hitters to pitchers, or somewhere in between?

I don’t really pay much attention to the ratio, but I usually end up with more pitchers than hitters simply because more pickup worthy pitchers tend to emerge in-season than hitters. But it’s a total need-based decision.
