Pitch or Ditch for Saturday-Monday, May 10-12

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at Texas Rangers

Skaggs @ Happ – Passing on Skaggs: TOR ranks 3rd in MLB in runs and 2nd in homers.

Gibson @ Scherzer

McHugh @ M. Gonzalez – Is McHugh turning back into a pumpkin? Gonzo a decent play in deeper leagues.

Miley @ Quintana – Still a fan of Miley but this isn’t the place to start him.

McAllister @ Bedard – McAllister has a 5.59 ERA in four road starts. In a 12-teamer, I’m ditching.

Lester @ Perez – Playing it safe on Perez, who has gotten roughed up in two straight.

Roark @ Gray – Roark coming off disaster outing and A’s can hit.

Ventura @ Young

Cain @ Greinke

Lynn @ Volquez

Sabathia @ Lohse – Can’t believe I’m ditching on CC in an NL park, but I am!

Samardzija @ Big Erv

Lyles @ Simon – Rockies highest scoring team in Majors overall but just a mid-tier offense on the road.

Kendrick @ Gee – Mets offense struggling mightily of late.

Eovaldi @ Stults

Weaver @ Hutchison

Deduno @ Ray – Ray impressive in MLB debut.

Cosart @ Tillman

Tomlin @ Archer – Sticking with Archer.

C. Anderson @ Noesi

Lackey @ R. Ross

G. Gonzalez @ Kazmir

Guthrie @ Elias – Royals last in MLB in homers and lead only Astros in AL in runs.

Nicasio @ Bailey

Hamels @ Niese – Hamels should get back on track here.

Jackson @ A. Wood

Phelps @ Garza

Hudson @ Kershaw

Alvarez @ Erlin – Very favorable matchup for Alvarez coming off CG SHO. Erlin a decent gamble in NL-only leagues.

Miller @ Morton – Morton pitching well and STL offense has been erratic.

Porcello @ Norris – Tough matchup for Porcello but I’ll take a shot.

Colon @ Kuroda

Wilson @ Buehrle – Buehrle due for a blowup. In a 12-team mixed, I’ll take the conservative route.

Lewis @ Peacock – If you don’t feel comfortable pitching Lewis here, there’s no point in owning him.

Danks @ Chavez – Danks tempting though.

Ramos @ King Felix

T. Wood @ Lyons – Wood’s ERA is 8.10 over his last three starts. Lyons worth a look in deeper leagues.

Zimmermann @ Collmenter

Koehler @ Haren – Not sold on Koehler but awfully tough to bench him right now.

Floyd @ Lincecum –  Lincecum getting close to DTM status.

Upon return from the DL pick up Mesoraco or keep Wilson Ramos

I wouldn’t call the team who has the 3rd most HR’s in the majors (The Giants) a favorable match-up. Just sayin.

10T H2H Dynasty – 2014 stats to date, Is it time to ditch?
Domonic Brown BA.234/ OBP.294/ SLG.298/ OPS.592 (and only 4 SB)
Carlos Santana .136/.303/.264/.567
Kyle Seager .239/.341/.444/.785 (he seems too streaky and not enough pop for the BA &OBP, been using him at “IF”, have Longoria at 3B,)

If ditch, what OF & IF player would be your “Mendoza” line “floor” when looking for replacement? Thanks, RK

No, no, no, especially in a dynasty. I still have a good amount of confidence in all of those guys long-term.
