Pitch or Ditch for Friday, May 30

MLB: Chicago Cubs at Chicago White Sox

Nicasio @ Kluber
Nolasco @ Nuno
Vargas @ Happ
Price @ Workman – hard to imagine benching Price if he’s healthy
M. Gonzalez @ Oberholtzer
Kennedy @ Danks – Danks has upside but is too erratic to trust
Richards @ Pomeranz – nice matchup but tough matchups for both
Verlander @ Iwakuma
Lewis @ Strasburg
Montero @ Burnett
@ Koehler – Koehler will regress eventually but home stats are outstanding
T. Wood @ Estrada – don’t like this matchup for Wood
Bumgarner @ Wainwright
Leake @ Arroyo – toss-up on both; I’ll play it safe
Liriano @ Beckett

***ZACH SAYS “I’d ditch on Koehler. He seems to be turning back into a pumpkin and is coming off a brutal home start. Agree on rest.”

In an NL only FAAB 5×5 league in need of BA, would you add Tommy La Stella for either Gennett or Dietrich, if so which one?

Always grateful Cory for your advice on Edwin Encarnacion, I kept with him like you through the years and finally got repaid massively a few years ago with his huge breakout and had him really cheap in a keeper. A moment never to be forgotten!

Cory or Zach, what do you think of these potential breakout pitchers, can you rank them for me? D Hutchison, W Peralta, G Richards, McHugh, P Hughes. Trying to determine which are legit and which are just hot starts is tough! Thanks.

Country Breakfast got thrown out at first by the left fielder last night. Is this the lowest of the low for him, or do you expect him to just putz along the rest of the season, kind of like most of last year?
