Astros Angels Baseball

Nolasco @ Liriano
Eovaldi @ G. Gonzalez
Walker @ M. Gonzalez
Santiago @ Ar. Sanchez – very tough matchup for Santiago, play it safe
Nelson @ An. Sanchez
Hellickson @ Koehler
Wacha @ Niese
E. Ramirez @ Foltynewicz
Gallardo @ Miley
Cueto @ Ventura
Bauer @ Quintana – too much upside to pass on either of these guys
Gray @ R. Hernandez
Harang @ Bettis – not trusting Harang in Coors
Hammel @ Shields
Frias @ Hudson

***ZACH SAYS “Niese was roughed up a bit his last time out, but he does have a 1.35 ERA at home this season after posting a 2.74 ERA at home last season. The matchup is tough, but he’s at least someone to consider in deeper formats. I’m still not trusting Hutchison, so I’ll ditch him for the time being. Agree on rest.”

Would you do this trade? 8 team H2H points league.
Give: Adam Jones, Dallas Keuchel and the guys I’d drop (Heyward and Teheran)
Get: Carlos Gomez, Hanley Ramirez, Anthony Rendon and Lance Lynn

Also, for an NL only Roto league do you have any buy low SP candidates?

Yeah, that looks good to me, even factoring in the drops. Jones to Gomez is at worst a lateral move as is Keuchel to Lynn. The duo of Hanley/Rendon easily beats Heyward/Teheran.

I was offered Wilson Ramos for Ian Kennedy. It’s a H2H 6×6 league, OPS being the 6th batting stat. I have Evan Gattis as my catcher. Is it worth trading a Grad? I could then trade Ramos or Gattis for a more consistent SP.
Thanks, Mike

It’s a fair trade on paper but you also need to have an idea as to the SP you’d be getting for one of the catchers. Kennedy is a borderline PoD guy right now and I’m down on him in general, so I’m not at all opposed to dealing him.

Thanks Zach

I see Tomas is hitting well recently, will he get consistent playing time as the manager seems to not like to give most of his players consistency…is he worth more than Kang, L martin, K Johnson or C Santana….also what is your take on Maybin for ROS

I’d have no issue with adding Tomas for Johnson.
