Chris Young

Gausman @ Buehrle – Tough matchup for Gausman in his return.

N. Martinez @ Rodon – Willing to give Rodon another chance.

Lester @ May – Not sold on May just yet.

Weaver @ Hahn – Weaver has been very erratic so far.

Liriano @ Scherzer

Lohse @ Bettis – Bettis worth consideration in deep mixed/NL-only leagues for this favorable matchup. 3.20 ERA at Coors this year. Go figure!

Lackey @ Harang – Beginning to lose faith in Harang.

E. Ramirez @ Kluber – Ramirez 2 ER or less in each of his last four outings.

Porcello @ Volquez – Not trusting either.

Syndergaard @ W. Perez – Nice matchup for Perez.

Koehler @ DeSclafani – Koehler’s home/away splits are extreme: 1.52 ERA at home vs 6.21 ERA on the road.

Simon @ Eovaldi

Hudson @ Frias – Too dangerous of a matchup for Hudson.

Keuchel @ Walker – Walker is on a roll.

T. Ross @ Ray – Sticking with Ross for the K upside. Ray not a bad option in deeper leagues but I need to see a bit more.

An. Sanchez @ Tanaka – Patient Anibal owners are being rewarded.

Tillman @ Copeland

Colome @ TBD (CLE) – Colome has been too unpredictable.

Phelps @ Lorenzen – Phelps a borderline call but I’ll play it safe on the road in a hitter-friendly park.

Morton @ G. Gonzalez – Morton is a must-start right now. Still not ready to bench Gio.

Wacha @ TBD (PHI)

Gallardo @ Quintana – Gallardo: 6+ IP and no more than 2 ER in six of his last seven starts.

Miley @ Young – Going for it with Young. Red Sox rank 14th in AL in runs scored on the road.

Arrieta @ Gibson – Gibson has been solid but the upside is limited.

Richards @ Kazmir

Velasquez @ Happ – Velasquez too risky coming off rough outing on Tuesday.

Garza @ Rusin

Cashner @ Hellickson

Harvey @ Teheran – Hard to have faith in Teheran right now regardless of the matchup.

Lincecum @ B. Anderson – Tiny Tim has been effective more often than not this season, but I’ll ditch in tough matchup.

Correia @ Pineda

Ryan @ Bauer

Hutchison @ Andriese – Hutchison makes me nervous but I do like this matchup.

Danks @ Milone

Kershaw @ Wada – Keep an eye on Wada but he’s strictly an NL-only play for now.

Oberholtzer @ Santiago – Santiago continues to rack up the K’s and the Astros lead the Majors in whiffs.

Blanton @ King Felix

I have 7 SP on my team am wondering if I should drop one or not? I have a 3 game lead in my 12 team daily league…..I have Bumgarner, Kazmir, A Sanchez, Harvey, Salazar, Liriano and Richards,,,,,,wondering if Richards is a drop or just go with 7 thanks

All 7 of those guys definitely deserve a roster spot, so yes, I’d stand pat with that group.

Hello Zach,
I received this offer in H2H Mix kp league.
Get Cruz and Chapman
Give Encarnacion and Cespedes

I have Chris David, Ortiz, Encarnacion and Carpenter.
Always i have to bench one of them.
ALso i need a Closer, only have Uehara and Miller (on DL)

I think you’re giving up too much there. I still consider Encarnacion to Cruz a downgrade and Cespedes for Chapman isn’t enough of an upgrade in overall value. Rather than trading two hitters, I’d try for a different closer, maybe a level below Chapman in value, who you can get for just Cespedes, or even better, Davis, Ortiz or Carpenter.

Ortiz or duda?

It’s close but I’d go with Papi and his track record. He’s also been hitting a lot better of late.

In another lg, 12tm kp Roto 7×7 with K, TB and OBP(instead of AVG)
Pick 3: Justin Turner, Byron Buxton, Colabello, Rusney Castillo, Brandon Moss, Brock Holt, Matt Duffy?
I own first 3, other are available in the wire.

Buxton, Moss and Holt/Castillo. Would lean towards Holt but Castillo deserves consideration due to the keeper factor.

Is Polanco a must keep or would you rather have M Taylor or Kiermaier?

Polanco, without question.
