Cody Anderson

Bumgarner @ Strasburg – Excellent!

Karns @ Pineda – Karns very impressive of late.

Dickey @ Price – Dickey – Dickey 3 ER or less in each of his last six starts but this matchup scares me.

McHugh @ Buchholz – McHugh on a roll lately and Red Sox offense is no longer elite. Tough to bench Buchholz right now but this matchup is equally tough.

Tillman @ Samardzija – Tillman has been a mess this year but coming off strong outing and this matchup is ultra-favorable. Worth considering in deeper leagues.

Despaigne @ C. Martinez

King Felix @ Graveman – Graveman has a 1.93 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over his last six starts.

Co. Anderson @ Locke – Gotta go with Anderson following near perfecto.

Pelfrey @ Blanton

Correia @ Al. Wood

Cosart @ Roach

Nelson @ Smith – Nelson too unpredictable to trust right now.

Harvey @ Greinke – Highlight matchup of the weekend.

Santiago @ Wandy – Santiago very quietly putting together outstanding season.

Hale @ Corbin – Wait and see on Corbin.

E. Ramirez @ Nova – Erasmo a decent play in deeper leagues but this matchup isn’t ideal.

Estrada @ Verlander – The roller coaster ride continues for Estrada.

Jungmann @ Leake – Jungmann tempting but I’m not going to chance it in hitter’s park.

McCullers @ E. Rodriguez – Bench but don’t cut Rodriguez.

Hamels @ Miller

Salazar @ Cole

B. Norris @ Sale

Big Erv @ Duffy – Big Erv! Not so fast.

Kennedy @ Lynn – Kennedy has yet to get into a groove. At this point, I don’t know if he ever will this year.

Latos @ Hendricks – Latos has looked a lot better recently but I still don’t trust him in a 12-team mixed.

Montgomery @ Bassitt – Back-to-back shutouts for Montgomery. How could you bench him?

Matz @ Bolsinger – I’d pitch anyone against the Mets right now.

J. De La Rosa @ R. De La Rosa – Battle of the De La Rosa’s Part Deux!

Wilson @ Lewis – Lewis will always scare me.

Vogelsong @ Zimmermann

DeSclafani @ Fister – Sticking with Fister despite inconsistency.

Shields @ Burnett

Keuchel @ Carrasco

Lackey @ Lester – Lackey has bounced back nicely from early-June blowup at Coors.

Buehrle @ Sale – Favorable matchup for the red-hot Buehrle, though a win could be hard to come by.

Colome @ Volquez

Wisler @ Lohse – Need to see a bit more from Wisler.

W. Chen @ Hughes

Simon @ Iwakuma – Simon has gotten roughed up three straight times now.

O’Sullivan @ Frias – Frias warrants consideration in deep mixed/NL-only leagues though.

Niese @ Heston – Five straight quality starts for Niese. Heston a strong play with Mets offense being nonexistent these days.

Hello Zach, Would you pitch Iwakuma today?

I’d pass until we see at least one solid outing.

would you drop Holt for A Ramirez (Mil) and start him over C Santana for the time being

Yes, I’d do both of those things.

How much longer is Hughes in the doghouse? Seems he has turn the corner from his early season struggles

He’s still a Pitch or Ditch guy for now, especially since his strikeout rate has plummeted since last year. In the event of a mediocre start, you can’t even rely on the K’s anymore.
