Zach’s Two-Start Pitcher Notes – Week of 7/27

Matt Cain

Teheran @ Jimenez – Not trusting Teheran on the road vs. a tough offense.

Morgan @ Doubront

Samardzija @ Miley – Shark’s last start with the ChiSox?

Young @ Bauer

Shields @ Syndergaard – Shields’ last start as a Padre?

Zimmermann @ Fernandez – Game of the night!

Price @ Odorizzi – Price’s last start as a Tiger?

Capuano @ Perez

Flande @ Beeler

Morton @ Pelfrey

Wilson @ McHugh

Leake @ Garcia – Leake is pitching well enough to take a shot here.

Godley @ Iwakuma

Gray @ B. Anderson

Peralta @ Cain – Too much risk here for the respective reward possibilities.

I had 7 SP in Bumgarner / Liriano / Salazar /Harvey / Kazmir/ Richards and Animal so dropped Sanchez and picked up Souza since need a little more offense? I’m in a 12 team mixed head to head league
Also thinking of offering Hanley and try to get Stanton is that a unfair offer?

Although that move is a reasonable one, you would’ve probably been better off trying to work out a trade involving either Anibal or one of your other SP’s in order to get that offensive upgrade. I still don’t consider Anibal drop material.
