Updated Pitch or Ditch Category Chart (7/22)

David Phelps

Farmer @ W. Chen – Chen is solid but the Tigers chew up lefties so I’ll play it safe.

W. Perez @ Buchanan

Cueto @ Hutchison

G. Gonzalez @ Harvey

E. Ramirez @ E. Rodriguez – Boston’s offense has been very erratic.

Locke @ Lorenzen – Sniff around this one in DEEP leagues.

Despaigne @ Phelps – Blue-plate special vs. righty-heavy Padres.

Bumgarner @ N. Martinez

Eovaldi @ Rodon

Hammel @ Jungmann

Walker @ Milone – Anyone’s guess on Walker at this point.

R. De La Rosa @ Feldman – Homer-prone Rubby visits baseball’s #1 homer offense. Ditch.

Kendrick @ Wacha

Salazar @ Graveman

Santiago @ Kershaw – Santiago could get 10 K’s, or take a 4th inning KO.

Considering Hutchison’s home numbers, why wouldn’t you pitch him tomorrow?

As it turned out, it was a mediocre start.

I’d like to increase my SB’s going forward. Which trade do you like better? I trade Phil Hughes for Billy Burns, or either Chris Archer or Sonny Gray for Sterling Marte.

The first one. The cost is far less and Burns could easily match or even exceed Marte’s SB total from here on out.
