Carlos Rodon

ZACH’S PICKS

SATURDAY

Salazar @ Severino

W. Perez @ Haren – Haren should get back on track here.

Heston @ Cole – Heston slumping and he’s been mediocre on the road this year, so you may want to ditch in shallower formats.

Gibson @ Tillman – Tillman has recorded five quality starts in his last six outings.

Jungmann @ J. Ross – Ross has earned my trust despite two straight poor performances.

Gallardo @ Wolf

Ventura @ Barnes – Not ready to jump back on the Ventura bandwagon just yet.

Hellickson @ DeSclafani

Greinke @ Kazmir

Harang @ Nicolino

Niese @ Rusin – Playing it safe with Niese in Coors.

C. Martinez @ Kennedy – Kennedy since All-Star break: 2.63 ERA, 1.09 WHIP.

Estrada @ Heaney – Tough matchup for Heaney but at least he’s at home.

E. Ramirez @ S. Gray – A’s rank last in AL in runs scored and OPS since All-Star break.

Rodon @ Nuno – Rodon risky but he’s coming off two straight dominant outings.

SUNDAY

Bauer @ Sabathia – Bauer struggling mightily of late.

Hamels @ Boyd – Hamels has been disappointing since trade to Rangers though.

Ch. Anderson @ Iglesias

Nola @ Conley – Favorable matchup for Nola.

Pelfrey @ Gausman – Gausman a decent gamble in deeper leagues but he’s been inconsistent.

Volquez @ E. Rodriguez – I don’t like the matchup for either.

Garza @ Zimmermann – Garza coming off shaky start vs. Marlins and Nats bats are bound to wake up sooner or later.

Kershaw @ McCullers – Hard to have much faith in McCullers right now.

Wisler @ Hammel

Dickey @ Richards – Dickey a decent option in deeper leagues but I’m just not a fan.

Odorizzi @ Graveman

Danks @ Walker – Five straight quality starts for Walker.

Wacha @ Rea

TBD (NYM) @ Hale

Leake @ Liriano – Leake admitting he’s not fully healthy.

MONDAY

Kluber @ Lester

Feldman @ Eovaldi

deGrom @ Morgan – Morgan worth a look in very deep mixed/NL-only leagues.

J. De La Rosa @ Teheran

Farmer @ Sampson

Happ @ Koehler – Koehler struggling in August (7.48 ERA).

Kelly @ Samardzija – Samardzija’s last start encouraging but I need to see more.

Jimenez @ Medlen

Lynn @ Ray – Ray continues to pitch fairly well and Cardinals are having a tough time consistently scoring runs these days.

Doubront @ Iwakuma
