CORY’S PICKS

Miley @ Tanaka – How many more good starts in a row would it take for you to pitch Wade Miley?

Verrett @ Asher

Zito @ Richards

Wacha @ Cole (Gm 1)

Lyons @ Morton (Gm 2)

Stroman @ M. Gonzalez (Gm 1)

Dickey @ Gausman (Gm 2) – Dickey has a 2.95 ERA since the All-Star break!

Lester @ DeSclafani

Cosart @ Smyly

Gibson @ Carrasco (Gm 1)

Pelfrey @ Co. Anderson (Gm 2)

Zimmermann @ W. Perez – Zim’s been a disappointment, but still good enough to pitch in Atlanta.

Boyd @ Gallardo – Gallardo has thrown fewer than 6.0 IP in six straight starts and 13 of 15. Yuck.

Volquez @ Quintana

Bettis @ Ch. Anderson

Kazmir @ TBD (SEA)

Davies @ Cashner – Cashner was a huge disappointment this year, but still worth using at home.

10T h2h 15×15 no cost keeper; I’m defending champ trying to repeat but down in the championship week 7-17 and categories are close. Rain outs killing my rotation. With Waino now off the DL I need to drop someone, who would you cut; Addison Russell, Byron Buxton, Taijuan Walker, Lance McCullers or Steven Matz? Or instead drop closer Shawn Tolleson or Roberto Osuna? I’m finding this tough, maybe I’ve become to attached to them so I’m reaching out for “HELP!”…thanks. -RK

That is tough. Is this a dynasty format? A lot also depends on your other keepers and their positions. If you don’t necessarily need a closer for the rest of this week, I’d lean towards cutting Osuna because I think he has the lowest long-term keeper value of the players you mention here.
