Hector Santiago

Nicasio @ An. Sanchez – Not sold on Nicasio yet. Anibal not a slam dunk either but I’ll go for it.

Corbin @ Maeda

Chacin @ G. Gonzalez

Erlin @ Morton

Tanaka @ Ar. Sanchez – Sanchez a risky play here but he was so impressive his first time out that I’ll give it a shot.

M. Wright @ Buchholz – Clay was roughed up in his first start and I’ve never been a fan of his for fantasy purposes.

Kluber @ Moore – Need to see a bit more from Moore before I can trust him.

Fernandez @ Syndergaard – Enjoy!

Medlen @ Fiers – Keep a close eye on Medlen though. I don’t like the matchup for Fiers.

Samardzija @ Chatwood – Not risking it with Samardzija at Coors.

Santiago @ Graveman – Santiago coming off strong outing and this is a decent enough matchup.

Holland @ Miley – Holland worth monitoring but I’ll play it safe for now.

Why will you give it a shot with Sanchez on the idea that he was so impressive his first time out, but sit Nicasio who struck out 7, didn’t walk anyone, and gave up only 4 hits over 6 innings (very impressive his first time out)…?

Track record, even though Sanchez has pitched out of the bullpen for the most part. There’s nothing in Nicasio’s big league track record that suggests he can maintain mixed league appeal over an extended period of time. As it turned out, I was right!

Is Cashner droppable? I was looking at maybe Eickhoff, Nelson, Greene. I feel like if cashner can’t even pitch well against philly , what’s the point of owning him. What are your thoughts, who you like best out of them?

Although I’m not quite ready to give up on Cashner, I do like both Eickhoff and Nelson and would rank them similarly to Cashner. So if you want to go ahead and make a switch, I don’t have a big problem with it.
