ZACH’S PICKS

Lester @ Nicasio – Tough matchup for Nicasio. I’ll play it safe.

Peavy @ Straily

Chacin @ Matz – I’m not comfortable pitching Chacin here.

Santiago @ Davies – Favorable enough matchup for Santiago.

Strasburg @ Medlen – I need to see more from Medlen, and this is a very challenging matchup.

King Felix @ Manaea – Taking the conservative route with Manaea for now.

Chatwood @ Vargas – Both are intriguing options in deeper formats though.

An. Sanchez @ Kluber – Anibal got roughed up by Cleveland two starts ago. I’ll sit this one out.

Sabathia @ T. Wilson

Lewis @ Ar. Sanchez – Sanchez 1 ER or less in four of his first five starts this season.

R. De La Rosa @ Fernandez – Favorable matchup for De La Rosa, who is pitching extremely well of late.

Wood @ Smyly – Wood is hard to trust.

Buchholz @ Rodon – Buchholz has been terrible for the most part.

Hughes @ Fiers – Both are a little risky, but I’m willing to take the risk.

Morgan @ Leake – Leake has been very disappointing so far but he’s worth a shot here (Phillies rank 14th in the NL in runs and 13th in OPS).

What’s your opinion on Tulo this year? His K rate is really alarming. Buy low or stay away?

Depends on what buying low equates to, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to trade for Tulo. Let someone else deal with the drama.
