ZACH’S PICKS

Scherzer @ Lackey

Porcello @ Pineda – Pineda coming off decent outing at Fenway but it’s still tough to trust him right now.

Hill @ Jimenez – Hill is equally tough to bench.

Maeda @ Stroman

Ventura @ Salazar

Cravy @ Adleman

Velasquez @ Chen – Four straight quality starts for Chen.

Hamels @ Zimmermann

Greinke @ Blair – Blair has been solid thus far and Diamondbacks offense has struggled on the road (12th in NL in runs scored).

Nolasco @ Latos – Not a big believer in Latos but this is a favorable enough matchup.

Walker @ Fister

Liriano @ Martinez

Archer @ Rasmus – Archer has been much better lately.

Bettis @ Bumgarner – Bettis a viable option in deeper formats though.

Syndergaard @ Pomeranz

Hi there! I have two questions for you.

Would you drop Matt Moore for Kevin Gausman, Chris Tillman or AJ Griffin? Please rank these three ROS. Hoping one can hold a spot while I wait for a Glasnow call-up. Basic 5×5 stats, plus QS

Also, would you drop Justin Upton for Brandon Belt, Wil Myers or Victor Martinez? Typical 5×5 stats, plus OBP, SLG & XBH

Moore vs. Gausman is close, but ultimately I’d hang onto Moore. My ranking would be Moore, Gausman, Tillman, Griffin.

And no, I definitely WOULD NOT drop Justin Upton. Belt and Myers should be picked up, but not for Upton.

Zach
