Fantasy 411 Q&A: June 19, 2009
Hey everyone,
For some reason, I decided to bench Tommy Hanson yesterday. Looking back, I don't really know why. I think it was the Great American Ballpark factor. Or maybe it was the 5 walks he issued in his previous start. Well of course he goes on to pitch six shutout innings and the Braves give him plenty of run support, enabling him to pick up his second career big league W. He did walk four and strike out only two, so this was by no means a dominant outing, But I think Hanson has already earned safe start status in all but the toughest of matchups.
Micucci and Gottlieb on today's podcast. In addition to touching on Hanson, they'll discuss Ricky Nolasco and the injury status of Brandon Webb, Brad Lidge, and Scott Kazmir.

Hello fellows,
I really need your opinion in my 9 Team NL ONLY KEEPER league. (We keep four). I am dominate in pitching. (First in ERA, WHIP, Ks). My bats are weak. (The highest bat category is 4rth in HRs).
I was offered Hanley Ramirez for essentially Furcal and Lincecum.
In an NL Only, Licecum is putting me over the top in pitching and that is hard to replace on the waiver wire. However, Hanley could really help me improve my average, SB, and runs categories.
What do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger on this?

I am in a std 5x5 roto with 4 keepers. I currently have Sizemore, Quentin, Lidge, Span and Doumit on the DL and Jose Lopez on berevement leave. Given that this uses up all my bench and DL spots who should I look to drop / trade or do I just need to tough it out?

Guys,
12 team, mixed, 5x5, non-keeper, weekly.
some one just droped Rich Harden, Nolasco is also on the wire.
should I drop 1 or 2 of these guys to grab them?
Baker, Madson, Matsuzaka? other closers are Bell, Soria, Soriano. Mid to upper in most pitching stats....right now Harden is getting hammered by the Indians!

Evening Gents,
This seems like such a no brainer that I feel like I must be missing something. I've been offered Steven Drew and Chris Davis for Kendry Morales.
My other OFs are Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, Milton Bradley and Manny who is obviously coming off suspension soon, at SS I'm starting Zobrist and Jose Reyes is on the DL.
