I have a couple of log jam spots in my lineup. I was hoping you could tell me which of the following is the best option moving foward for the rest of the season.

10 team mixed 8x8 dynasty (extra hitting:slugging, K, BB)

2B: Dan Uggla/Chris Coghlan
CF: Andrew McCutchen/Johnny Damon
RF: Magglio Ordóñez/Michael Cuddyer

Thanks guys!

Happ was bumped for Hamels, who is obviously a pitch.

I am in a 10 team H2H league. Stats are R, H, RBI, HR, AVG, and OBP. I currently have Matt Weiters as my catcher, and I went all out to get him so I have been giving him the benefit of the doubt but I am growing impatient as I am sure most of his owners are. Miguel Olivo, Geovanny Soto, Russell Martin, Yadier Molina, and AJ Pierzynski are all available. Should I bail on Weiters and pick someone else up? And if so who should it be?

Gentlemen,
I have Asdrubal Cabrera on the DL, and he looks set to return to action over the weekend. Currently I have Utley at 2B, Rollins at SS and am riding the hot Casey McGee as my MI fill-in. When I activate Cabrera, what should I do-- Drop McGee and slot Asdrubal in there, or drop someone like Paul Maholom, Justin Masterson, (I have Halladay returning Monday, though he's occupying one of my 3 bench spots, the other DL spot is filled by Peavy....).

Given Rollins struggles, i'm thinking of dropping Maholom and riding McGee and Asdrubal while sticking Rollins on the bench for a few days. when Rollins heats up, i drop McGee and use that spot for a pitch or ditch guy.

Is this plan sound? Or, am I over-valuing McGee's short term burst and the Rollins and Maholom struggles and undervaluing Maholom (or Masterson's) long term contribution to my pitching staff.

hey boys i am in a 10 team 5x5 deep league 2 players @ 1b 2b etc and 8 OF. I just pulled off a trade and want our valued opinions. i traded away D Haren, A Lind J Guillen for Sizemore and Granderson. i am last in RBI AVG and SB. i was at the top in W and ERA and im worried about Harens second half struggles and if Lind can keep this pace up

hey boys i am in a 10 team 5x5 mixed non keeper. Very deep league 2 positions for every INF spot and 8 OF. I just traded away HAREN LIND J.GUILLEN for SIZEMORE and GRANDERSON. the owner thinks sizemore will need surgery. I am last in RBI SB and AVG and im doing well in the Pitching categories. what do you think of this trade i trust your valued opinions.

zooyork,

I'm putting your question on today's podcast so stay tuned.

Mike,

Call me boring but I'm going with Uggla, Damon, and Magglio although a decent argument can be made for Cuddyer (if healthy) over Ordonez. You know Uggla will give you HRs and his AVG is slowly creeping up while Damon will give you a little of everything, including HRs thanks to that cozy right field porch at the Stadium.

Peter,

I like your plan. Maholm has been nothing special this year and looks like a POD guy right now. Rollins will reportedly be benched for the next couple of days so that he can clear his head and when Halladay comes back you'll get that extra SP anyway. Ride the hot bat.

Matt,

Love the trade. There are no signs right now that Grady is headed back to the DL as Eric Wedge says that he simply wants to give him days off as they ease him back into the lineup. Sounds like a panic move by the other owner. But let's for the sake of argument say Sizemore goes back on the DL and misses the rest of the year (extreme I know). You're basically giving up Lind and Guillen for him as Haren for Granderson is equal tradeoff. Risky but worth it. You're not dealing any flat out studs here.

Is it Braden or Anderson tonight vs. Hammel? MLB and ESPN list Anderson, CBS and the Oakland Tribune list Braden. If Braden, do you start him?
